First Eucharist & Confirmation

Families with children in third grade (or older), who have completed at least one year of class, who have already celebrated the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and who are also enrolled in a third grade class are eligible to enter into the process of preparation of the Sacrament of Eucharist, (First Communion). Class participation for Sacramental reception is the required process in conjunction with weekly Mass attendance and at-home study, prayer, and conversation. Parent formation sessions are inclusive of the process. For children older than third grade please meet with the Coordinator of Elementary Ministry for determination of your specific needs and circumstances.

Celebration of the Sacrament

Celebrations for Confirmation and First Eucharist will be announced when we have Diocesan assignments.

Volunteers Needed

This is on on-going effort in every parish. We at St. Andrew the Apostle invite and encourage and train and prepare our ministers. If you would like to volunteer for Elementary Religious Education, Children's Celebration of the Word, Reconciliation, Vacation Bible School or office assistance, please know we love hearing from you! Call the RE office if these areas appeal to you. Contact ministry leaders in other areas if they appeal to you. The parish runs on volunteer efforts. Be fuel for our community and Volunteer Today!
